Across borders

Leaving India does not close your file with the Income-tax Department.

A flat that still earns rent. A salary account nobody closed. Shares from an old ESOP. A family business you hold a share in. Each of them keeps a thread running back to India, and the rules that govern those threads are ours to work with — we are an Indian firm, and the Income-tax Act, FEMA and the Companies Act are the law we practise under.

Where you also need something done in the country you live in — a company formed there, its taxes registered, its audit signed — that is regulated locally and licensed locally. We introduce and coordinate it with a licensed firm on the ground, and each country page says plainly which firm does which half.

Where our clients are

United Arab Emirates

Dubai · Abu Dhabi · Sharjah

No personal income tax in the UAE is exactly why Indian residency rules catch Gulf NRIs — and why the treaty has to be claimed properly.

What catches people there

United States

New York · New Jersey · Bay Area

The one country that taxes you on worldwide income for holding its passport — which makes the Indian half of your affairs a US reporting problem too.

What catches people there

United Kingdom

London · Birmingham · Manchester

The remittance basis is gone. What replaced it in April 2025 changes the answer for anyone who moved from India in the last few years.

What catches people there

Singapore

Singapore

Territorial tax and no capital gains charge make it the natural holding location — until the treaty's limitation of benefits clause is tested.

What catches people there

Saudi Arabia

Riyadh · Jeddah · Dammam

No personal income tax, which puts Saudi expats squarely inside India's deemed residency rule — and a localisation regime on the business side.

What catches people there

Canada

Toronto · Brampton · Vancouver

Canada taxes residents on worldwide income and charges a departure tax when you leave — both of which need the Indian side lined up.

What catches people there

Australia

Sydney · Melbourne · Brisbane

Temporary residents escape Australian tax on Indian income. Permanent residents do not — and the change happens the day the visa does.

What catches people there

Qatar

Doha · Al Rayyan · Al Wakrah

No personal income tax, two separate business regimes onshore and in the QFC, and the same Indian deemed residency exposure as the rest of the Gulf.

What catches people there

Elsewhere in the world, the India-side work below applies just the same — the treaty article and the paperwork change, the obligation does not. Tell us where you are and we will confirm what applies.

Handled by us, in India

The India side, wherever you live

Fees published on each page. Government charges shown separately and billed at actuals.

Not sure where you stand

Residency is a calculation, not an opinion

Tell us the days you spent in India and what you still earn here, and we will tell you which side of the line you are on for the year — before it becomes something to fix.

Why clients stay

The boring things, done reliably.

Compliance is not glamorous work. It is deadlines met, numbers that tie, and someone picking up when you call. That is what we optimise for.

Priced before we start

Every service on this site carries its fee. You get a written scope and a number before any work begins, and the invoice matches it.

Two people on every filing

Nothing goes to a department on one pair of eyes. A second professional reviews the return before it is submitted.

A person, not a ticket

You get a named associate who knows your file, reachable on WhatsApp, not a queue and a different voice every call.

We watch the calendar

Once you are on our books we track your due dates and reach out before the deadline, not after the late fee.
